I miss this place already - TripAdvisor

This was our first time staying at Sailport, we were in town for the Florida Sportsman expo and wanted a nice room with a view to come back to after a long busy day. I saw some unsatisfactory reviews on here, but figured I would take a chance anyways, I contacted Sailport through their facebook page and requested to have an upper level room close to the tip of the island, they were super fast with their response and very friendly, even helping me out by finding me a better rate and offering me a promo code! You know the saying "you get what you pay for"...well sailport is extremely affordable in comparison to many other hotels around Tampa and it EXCEEDED my expectations! I can't say enough good things about our experience there. The staff is very friendly & personable, Jerry helped us with dinner reccomendations. They have a little store in behind the check-in area which is awesome, I was so happy not to have to drive to publix or walmart for some snacks & beer. I was smiling from ear to ear when we got inside our room. We had a 1 bedroom suite on the 4th floor (ROOM 421) The kitchen and living room area facing the large balcony with water views was just amazing, it was very clean, and equipped with a large fridge, stove, dishwasher, and beautiful large countertop and sink. Wow! Large flat screen TV in the living room and a smaller one in the bedroom. Most hotels just provide you with a room & bathroom, or a small plain sitting area. I could LIVE at Sailport, it was so nice and beautiful & relaxing. I loved it so much, and am already missing the view. We will without a doubt be back here if we are in Tampa again!

Prime Location in Miami - TripAdvisor

Coconut Grove is quite a spot in Miami. Just a few minutes drive from all interesting sites (including less than 15 minute drive to the airport) and yet away from traffic jams, which are normal in big cities. The Mutiny Hotel is located in front of a Marina, nice to have a stroll in the morning and offers a quiet atmosphere, which is very relaxing. The staff is very kind and attentive and the front office manager, Mr. Juan Manuel Valera is always at your disposal to assist and help.

The Mutiny is too good to be true - TripAdvisor

The Mutiny is too good to be true an amazing value for a really great product! My husband and I have stayed at the Mutiny several times and have NEVER been anything but amazed at how nice the hotel is for the money. The rooms are very clean with well appointed full kitchens, spacious living areas and bedroom not your typical hotel room (more like a condo). The views from the private balconies won't disappoint a nice place to relax with a cocktail and take in the scene. The hotel itself is very attractive and the staff very nice. There is plenty to do in and around Coconut Grove. We enjoyed walking around the marina across the street. There are plenty of park benches to sit and enjoy the scenery. There are plenty of great bars, restaurants and take outs available in the area. We did not get a chance to eat in the hotel restaurant but heard from others that the food was good. The Mutiny itself is very centrally located (just a few minutes from Coral Gables and Key Biscayne, not too far from South Beach). One would be hard pressed to find a better value than this hotel.

Perfect - Trivadvisor.com

We had a great suite overlooking the bay. Accommodation was great and exactly what we were looking for after a long flight from the UK. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful location and in walking distance to Whiskey Joes bar.

Wonderfull Property - TripAdvisor.com

I stayed here one night a few weeks ago because it was close to the airport. I was concerned by the mixed reviews but I can honestly say I did not find one thing I could possibley think of to complain about. The pool was immaculate as were the other common areas. The "room" was more like an appartment including dishwasher and garbage disposal. The staff answered all questions professionally and helpfully. It was an area you could feel safe in with a variety of restaurants and activities within a few minutes walk or drive. Perhaps it depends on the room you are in but I would have no quams if I can get the same room next time!

Awesomeness- Trip Advisor

Everything was great. Personnel was attentive and courteous. Rooms and facility were very clean and tidy. Pool and private beach was nice and loved that the tennis court had lights to play at night. Would recommend to everyone and will go back

What a Great Place to Stay- Trip Advisor

We often dive in Tavernier, and when we do, we stay here. The condos are very nice, always clean, and with extra towels. They have a washer and dryer in the room that is very convenient, also a full kitchen. We leave early- to dive, so having a kitchen is a necesity for us. The pool is huge, never crowded, and we always enjoy going by the pool with a glass of wine after diving. The staff is always friendly and accomodating.

Beautiful Views - Expedia.com

ool was clean and well stocked with towels. The grounds were lovely; I took my 3 year old grandson for a walk and he enjoyed swinging on the chair swing and looking for sharks from the pier.

Booking.com

The rooms were well decorated, it was large enough for our whole family to not be in the way of each other, and the staff was wonderful

Wonderful Stay

My Wife and I spent 2 weeks last February 2012..The resort and staff were very friendly and accomodating..We thoroughly enjoyed our visit..the resort was very clean..pool was great...overall a very relaxing vacation.

Great value for the dollar - TripAdvisor

Sailport resort is an ideal place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, nice, clean place in Tampa Bay. With one bedroom suites, all equiped with balconies, full kicthens, flat screen TVs and comfy beds this is a best buy for the money. In addition all rooms have a Bay View. Staff are friendly and responsive. Internet is free as is the parking. There is a nice pool area and a man-made beach area. The public areas are outfitted with comfortable chairs, volleyball court and firepit. You can watch the sunset on the Bay. This property is about 10 mins from the airport and 20 minutes from the cruise port. A fancy resturant (Rusty Pelican) and a casual one (Crabby Bill's) are within walking distance. Other resturrants are within an easy drive. The resort has a shuttle for guest use, with a small fee. If you are flying in, grab a cab and have them stop at a carryout for snacks, wine etc. There is no store nearby, although there is a small shop in the lobby for forgotten items.

Pleasantly Surprised- Trip Advisor

We stayed in a 2 bed,2 bath suite, very nicely decorated, updated very well and the king bed was very comfortable. Stayed on the 3rd floor, overlooking the ocean, was a great view from the living room/balcony. The resort had everything you needed. It was very clean. I would recommend this resort to anyone that wanted a great getaway.

Welcoming a special couple at the Mutiny tonight for their anniversary

Javier Delgado, a Miami romantic, decided to surprise his wife for their anniversary with a stay at the Mutiny Hotel. He took it a step further and asked our concierge, Karel Perez, to decorate the room with a path of rose petals leading from the door to the master bedroom; chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne.

Happy anniversary to the Delgado family! Enjoy a romantic weekend at the Mutiny Hotel in the lush Coconut Grove.

Best weekend of my life! - TripAdvisor

My husband and I just had out wedding here last Friday evening. Aside from stressing out about weather or not is was going to rain, everything was perfect. We had 12 other people with us last weekend and they all expressed how nice it was. The rooms were clean, very spacious, and if we didn't have something we needed, they brought it to us. Christina and Mandy were my heroes of the weekend, From the set up to the tear down. I couldn't be happier that I choose Sailport Waterfront Suites to have our wedding. We had it out on the Patio, with the Bay in the background, with the sun setting. Then had dinner catered in on the same patio. All I can say is WOW! They even helped us with transportation the next day to get to the Port for our honeymoon. We can't wait to come back soon!

Group Stay in Style

We were a group of 48 passengers who were overnighting in Miami before a cruise. I made advanced group arrangements with Raisa who was the Group Sales Manager. We found the price to be extremely fair, the reservation process smooth, the welcome by staff incredible, the service awesome and the rooms beautiful. My guests raved about the place. I would recommend the Mutiny hotel to everyone visiting the Miami area. Walking distance to Coconut Grove restaurants and entertainment.

Perfect Location with Excellent Service

Recently I stayed at the Sailport Waterfront Suites for a total of 4 nights. It turned out to be a perfect location to get to all the events I had scheduled with either Free or low cost shuttles! (Like $10 or under.) The service during my stay was exceptional. The manager was so nice and helpful along with a friendly staff. I hope to return there one day just to relax and not head out to events! The rooms were clean and roomy. There was service of good food available for reasonable delivery for the times I didn't have time to prepare something right there in the kitchen. The sandy area had tables and shade so you could relax and bury your feet while reading or over looking the water. Absolutely a wonderful place for a couple, a family or even like me this time; business nearby. I would highly recommend this for a stay in the Tampa area!

Is Tampa airport better than Orlando airport?

Hotels.com - Great bargain for our purposes. We wanted to visit Legoland in central Florida and considered flying into Orlando and diving 40 minutes west but flights were expensive and mostly booked (August, too!). Almost bagged the trip but then thought about flying into Tampa. Nice. Cheaper flights and nice hotel deals, even in advance of the Republican NationalĀ  Convention scheduled for the following week. And Legoland was an hour ride east - worth the extra 20 minutes in the car! We'd do it all again the same way. Hotel was next to Old Tampa Bay with great sunsets from the outdoor heated pool. The interstate highways around Tampa are very confusing so a GPS would have been nice to have (we used MapQuest maps).

Nice placeļæ½

I wanted to stay in my home town but get away...and found the Mutiny Hotel and was very please with both the service, especially from Juan who made my family feel right at home. I strongly recommend a visit to the Mutiny Hotel. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Nice Getaway

The Mutiny Hotel is very nice hotel, my wife and I have stayed on several occassions. The Mutiny Hotel is in the ideal location in beautiful Coconut Grove. All room are suites very spacious, the staff was very nice and accomodating. The front desk service was especially great, ISaura was working at the front desk when we checked in, and his service was excellent. I recommend anyone visiting the Miami or living in the area to stay at this hotel.

Best Vacation Spot

The Mutiny Hotel was very pleasing and meets all needs. Nice pool, gym. and sauna. The Service was great they were always right on top of everything. The front desk service was especially great. The front desk service was especially great, Yvonne was working at the front desk everytime we needed something and her service was excellent. She helped us with everything. The Coconut Grove area is beautiful and the suites are spacy and nice. I recommend anyone visiting the Miami or living in the area to stay at this hotel.

Great Experience- Trip Advisor

We had a really positive experience, our apartment was faultless and very modern with a separate washer and dryer and a dishwasher. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was very clean. It is my understanding that each apartment is different and privately owned, so personally decorated. We are very grateful to the person who owns it as it really was a great place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place was serviced once during our 10 night stay. We would come back and request this apartment.

Amazing Stay- Trip Advisor

We stayed in bldg 1 and it was wonderful! My BF gasped when he entered the unit! It really is that nice... the people are friendly and the grounds is impeccably kept. We would stay there again. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer

Excellent Place to Stay- Trip Advisor

This was not my first trip to Ocean Pointe - but this time I did stay a little longer. I have to say that from the moment we arrived - to checkout we had a fantastic time. The 2 bed Ocean view Condo was in Building 3 3rd floor and proved to be a super base for our week in the Keys. We had no complaints whatsoever - it's not brand new but it was modern, clean and everything worked just fine. The views were great, the bedding etc was extremely clean and comfortable, we could happily have stayed longer here. Check in was efficient and welcoming as was checkout - I found Dee and Clinton in the Bar a pleasure to be served by - always making time to chat / offer advice on places locally, despite running a very busy bar at times. The grounds are very well maintained, and I enjoyed the pool. I really couldn't criticize anything about my stay at all. We would return tomorrow.

Great Location & View - Expedia

Overall, my room was very clean and so was the hotel, and I look forward to staying here again! Just a couple of things were missed during cleaning; very minor. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet. I really liked the location and will book here again.

Perfect for a Family Vacation - Hotels.com

We were travelling with our 18 month old and this hotel was the perfect choice. There was plenty of room for her to play and my husband and I were very comfortable as well. Having the full kitchen was a lifesaver. Everything was up to date and clean. Convenient to all of Tampa interstates without feeling like you were in the middle of the city... Not to mention the amazing sunset. We plan on going back!

Everything Indeed - Booking.com

The room was a real apartment with stanning view on the gulf, a nice balcony. It had everything, nice kitchen, big television, stereo...all you need. A television on wall in the bedroom too. Lots of space in the apartment. The staff very kind especially Jerry at front desk, a great helping person. Great the free shuttle service, they take you to restaurants, to Mall, to beach, to Airport (which is at only 8 minutes drive)

Weekend Getaway - TripAdvisor

Very nice two bedroom condo, with full kitchen, close to great restaurants and bars. Good location for downtown Tampa and Clearwater right off Hwy 60 (courtney-cambell causeway). Nice view from room of old Tampa Bay.

Booking.com

The desk attendant on the afternoon shift (3-11) was very friendly and helpful- the first person we saw when arriving and made us feel welcome.

Good for Families - Hotels.com

Nice hotel with a great pool. Can't swim in the bay, so you'll have to drive to the beach. However, that's true for all the hotels in the Tampa area. The kitchen area was very nice and great for families.
