Amazing! - TripAdvisor

For once in my life, I am speechless...This was a wonderful stay. The rooms clean, roomy and comfortable. I mean very clean. The range of fun and sun was the best ever. Friendly folks and employees, Would and will come back! Great price and family friendly. Thanks Sailport, GREAT Trip for us. All rooms face the bay, with balconies. Yes I saw a dolphin.

Sunset Vistas

This was my second time staying at Sunset Vistas Resort. Awesome views from our balcony and very clean and spacious rooms.

Ocean Pointe Suites is Awesome!- Trip Advisor

This is our 5th stay at Ocean Pointe Suites and it gets better each time. The staff is great and responsive to our requests. A great place to stay for a weekend getaway or for a week of offshore fishing. We had a great time.

This Place is Great!- Trip Advisor

This Place is Great!  You enter this sweeeeeet little secluded hideaway. You are greeted with the speed limit sign which reads... " Honestly! What's your hurry? You are here... 15 mph, please" and you begin to slow down to island time. The property is expansive. Lot's of boats and lots of people heading to the pool, tennis courts, volleyball and the docks. Happy families, family reunions and lots of kids. This is our kind of place. Check in was a breeze. Very friendly staff. We are self sufficient. Point us in the right direction and we are golden! Our unit was in building 4, unit 4402. It was in great shape. Island colors. Very pleasant. It was wonderful having a kitchen for breakfast and lunch and then dinner out. However if we had stayed longer, there are barbecue facilities and picnic areas that would have been great! There is a cute little cafe for drinks or breakfast,etc.- we'll have to try that next time. And there will be a next time. We loved Ocean Point Suites. I don't understand why no one else gave it 5 stars..... What are you holding back? This is a pleasant, welcoming place. And it has a beach! That is very unusual for the Keys! This is a great, comfortable and affordable place to stay in the Florida Keys.

Great Hotel - Expedia

The rooms were huge and the grounds were above and beyond our expectations. I have stayed in Tampa many times and this was the best yet. We will be back.

Great Adventure - Expedia

It was a spur of the moment get a-way. Had a great time. You were able to watch the sunset on your balcony. Play volleyball/fish on the beach shore or relax by the pool! Great experience. Recommend highly

Home away from Home - Travelocity

We enjoyed our stay here so much that we booked an extra couple of days. Great location, friendly staff and very affordable. Room was clean, we were surprised to find an oven and dishwasher. Will be coming back

Excellent Hotel off Main Road -TripAdviser

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel entrance is a little hard to find, but once you find the little sign its worth it. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Once you figure out which roads take you were you can navigate easily. The only down side is you have to get on interstates to go anywhere. At least thats how our GPS took us to restaurants and other area attractions. The fishing pier is nice as well as the pool. The private balconies are great for watching the sunsets over the bay. We will stay there again when we go back to Tampa.

Wonderful Place - TripAdvisor

Don't know if it's common, but the hotel is cleverly designed so that balconies provide a wonderful view of the bay as well as complete privacy from adjacent rooms. The suites were spacious and clean, the price was very reasonable (even though we were there during spring break.) Only minor drawback for us was the fact that there was no access to the water from the hotel's beach. Plenty of real beaches nearby though.

Beautiful Sunset - TripAdvisor

My stay in March was my 1st time there. Room 324 was cozy & yet very clean. But absolutely nothing tops off the day like this beautiful sunset! I cannot wait til I return on July 25th, where this time I'm bringing along my family so that they can enjoy & appreciate everything that Sailport has to offer. Thank you to all the staff for my wonderful memories ?

Great Stay - Great Value - TripAdvisor

We booked this with a package to Busch Gardens. We had a 2 BR apartment with full kitchen and dining room. Tons of room and we had a great balcony to watch sunsets from overlooking the bay and the pool. The price of the stay bundled with the Busch Gardens tickets was a great deal. Really good location allowing us to day trip over to Clearwater as well. We'd definitely go back.

“Great start to our vacation”

Stayed with Sunset Vistas for our family vacation. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. Very clean. Plenty of space for everyone. Had everything we needed. Good location. Very pleased with accommodations. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. Great start to our vacation.

“Third Visit to Treasure Island”

We've just completed out third trip to Treasure Island staying at Sunset Vistas. This place is the ideal base for a holiday, we stayed for 10 days and found plenty to do and see. The suites had been updated since our last visit and provide excellent accommodation with very obliging staff. Would highly recommend.
Would also recommend the sunset cruise with Hubbard's Marina - great fun for all the family.

"Amazing Family Vacation"

My family and I have just returned from a 6 day visit to Treasure Island Florida. I must say we had an amazing time. Treasure Island itself is beautiful, lots of character and gorgeous beaches. We stayed at the Sunset vistas and I can’t say anything negative about this place. Check in was unbelievably quick with great knowledgeable staff.

"Great Place to Stay on Treasure Island!"

My husband and I took my mom and dad (who are in their 60's and 70's) to Treasure Island for Mother's Day weekend. They loved Sunset Vistas so much we couldn't get them to leave the balcony! They both agreed that sitting on the balcony watching the gulf and the sunsets was the best part of the trip. We had a great room with a perfect view!

"We Will Return"

We stayed here in late May, 2012. It is truly a wonderful place. The staff was terrific. It is well maintained, the condo was spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the view of the beach was priceless. It was especially nice that we did not need to cross a street to go to the ocean. The pools were extemely nice.

"weekend Get Away"

WOW What a place. Booked 2 - two bedroom condos. Views were spectacular! My son and his college buddies had one unit while the parents stayed in the other unit. Cooked out on the grill on-site and had a BLAST

We will be back!

“Beautiful Hotel & Perfect Location - Can't Wait To Return!!”

Stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely LOVED it!! Got way more than we paid for, you get a regular hotel for that price in that area on the beach, and we got 2 bedrooms, 2 big bathrooms, full kitchen, dining room, living room and balcony facing the ocean. It was clean and comfortable and I can't imagine anyone having any complaints!!

"Top Notch Condo"

The family and I stayed for a week and loved it. The location is convenient for traveling to the various things to do in the area and all the great restaurants. The place was very clean and made the whole family feel right at home. The staff was friendly and helpful too. The kids loved the pool and I liked the hot tub. Being right on the beach, we visited the beach frequently. I will recommend Sunset Vistas to my friends.

"Great Value for a Beach Family Vacation"

It is important to think of the rooms more as rented condos than hotel rooms. Pro: spacious suite with 2 separate bedrooms, a dining table, 2 full baths, washer/dryer and a full kitchen. Con: no daily maid service (although they do come around every other day and refresh linens). Overall, I was very pleased with this arrangement. It gave us a spacious place to stay that was reasonably priced.

"One Week to Remember on Treasure Island"

Family get together in the USA April 2012, we were coming from England and Wales and Alabama, and picked Treasure Island from a road map! Our stay was a fantastic success, even though some of our new American friends thought 'unseasonable' the temperatures of 75 deg on some days, we thought weather was great!

"Fantastic Experience"

Our family birthday celebration was even better than expected. This hotel is more than a hotel; it is a condo with an ocean view. It was clean and spacious. The 2nd floor cafe had a great selection of delicious breakfast and lunch items. I highly recommend Sunset Vistas Suites!

"First Time, Won't be the Last TIme!"

This was our first stay at Sunset Vistas, and we will definitely be coming back. It's a very short walk to the ocean, and our kids played in the main pool a lot as well. Clean, spacious rooms, free fast Wi-Fi, full kitchen with disposal and dishwasher, hours of entertainment for all-what more could you ask for!

"Great Family Vacation"

This was our first time at sunset vista and we will return again. We rented through a realtor and the room had sand toys, beach chairs, and a booster seat for our baby which was nice to have. Rooms were spacious. Kitchen utensils and cookware was only ok. We brought a coleman cabana tent for the beach but rentals are available.

"Another Great Stay"

Just got back from Sunset Vistas, our third year now. I highly recommend this condo/hotel. The prices are very reasonably, the rooms are spacious with kitchens. Very clean and comfortable. Great views as well. The staff is always friendly and the beach is just right out back. Love this place and looking forward to another year there!

"Excellent Hotel"

We stayed at the Sunset Vistas for 5 days and loved every minute, excellent suite on the beach. Very quite, clean and helpful staff. Will go back for sure, can't wait.....thanks Sunset Vistas.

Great Place for a Perfect Getaway

This is an excellent hotel! The staff and service was great. It is just a block away from all the shops in Cocoanut Grove. The hotel is right next to the marina, has a great pool area very quiet and relaxing. Rooms have a nice small kitchen small living room and great bedroom. Balcony offers views of the bay area.

Location, location, location

My sister and I stayed at The Mutiny Hotel from May 24th-May 27th. The hotel is nicely decorated and pleasantly inviting. We enjoyed our 1 bedroom king size suite with kitchenette. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to CoCo Walk and is across the street from the harbor/marina. Check-in/check-out was quick and efficient; staff was friendly; pool area was nice and clean. There is a market nearby where you can buy groceries! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Panoramic bay view from a private balcony

We spent one week at Sailport from May 31th thru June 6th, 2012 to celebrate our 22nd Anniversary. When we reserved this hotel, we did not expect much because the price we paid was very decent (with Hotel's promotion) but we were so lucky to stay at room 329 which has a panoramic bay view. A BIG Thanks to Mr. David Frank who booked this room for us. We enjoyed every minute of it. At Sailport, every room looks out water view, more or less. In room 329, the sandy beach and wide open bay view can be seen from the living room. Night time illumination was beautiful, especially when our week was during the full moon. Restaurants are a short distance away with Rusty Pelican is just a few minute walk outside the complex. We dinned out at Rusty Pelican once. Food at Rusty Pelican was delicious and the area along the water was beautiful (but not better than the view we had from our balcony, though). There is also a mobile BBQ vendor on site by the pool and wood deck which opened on weekend from Thursday thru Sunday. The BBQ was delicious! During our stay, I cooked meals almost every day. Normally, when we are on vacation, we eat out most of the times. But with the view we had at Sailport and a fully equipped kitchen, why I had to pay extra money to have the same view (or less) at a high-end restaurant? My hubby was surprised that I cooked almost every day for a week because he knows cooking is not my style, at home or on vacation. This time, with the magnificent view from this room, I was in the mood for cooking and enjoyed dinning from our own private, waterfront balcony Overall, our stay was very pleasant. At this condotel, each unit is individually owned, so there were variations in the updates from previous years. However, they are in the process of renovation entire hotel with new interior design and furniture upgrades in every room. We were told this unit 329 will get a full upgrade sometime in July 2012. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone for the price, the view, the location and services. This is a quiet, peaceful place to stay away from the crowds but only few miles from center of the town. Oh, last but not least, we had cleaning service every day in our room without paying extra $100+ per week as we normally paid when you rent a condo by owner. This is a big plus.

Very Tropical- Trip Advisor

we were very pleased at the suites. everything was clean and tropical. from the cafe to the beach to the outdoor grills it was a fantastic vacation. highly recommend!

Great Value

A deal when going to Key largo for scuba diving. Big rooms, clean and close to marinas, stores and restaurants. Well equipped kitchens made cooking a breeze and cuts down on eating out costs. Great pool, a beach and plent of places to run.

Best Experience in the FL Keys Ever!!!!!

Having lived in South FL for 23 years, I make it a point to visit the Keys at least once or twice a year without fail. This was by far one of the BEST places I've ever stayed and the price was a super value!! We stayed in a one bedroom two bath suite in Bldg.#5 with a gorgeous view of the marina and ocean. With a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, two very nicely updated bathrooms and a small outside balcony, it greatly exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean and in working order. The area, (just 8 miles to Islamorada) is GREAT! The pool was big and beautiful. We rented the kayaks on site and saw a manatee, a huge iguana, an tons of fish. There are plenty of restaurants in the area with gorgeous views of the sunset and of course the reef at Islamorada for great snorkeling. The cafe is very nice with a small menu but has a great bar and we enjoyed meeting and talking to new people after dinner. Our bartender Dee, was wonderful and efficient and chatted along with all of us at the bar. All of the staff were friendly and helpfull. When we returned home my boyfriend noticed that he was missing his new pair of boardshorts and remembered that they had been on the balcony drying and must have fallen off the rail. I called the hotel and they actually had them!!!! Kaitlyn from the lost and found couldn't have been more helpful and prompt. They were in the mail by the end of the day that I called!!! WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!!!!!!

Mrs

We booked through Expedia. Very pleased with the accomodations. The room was clean, bright and well maintained. The property was exceptionally nice and the staff helpful. We faced the bay, it was quiet, peaceful and the sunset was fabulous.

Short Spring Family Getaway - Expedia

The rooms all have a balcony that faces Tampa Bay and provides a beautiful view of the sunset every evening. Convenient to shopping and the expressway (Bush Gardens was 20 minutes) and quiet. A real bargain for the price

Impressed with Sailport - Expedia

Sailport Resort was exactly what my friends and I were looking for. Our room had a beautiful view and we enjoyed the ammenities. We especially appreciated the reasonable price. The location was convenient and we will definitely stay again when vacationing in Tampa.

Tampa Anniversary Trip - TripAdvisor

We were in Tampa Bay celebrating our 35th anniversary, we stayed at the Sailport Waterfront and were pleasantly surprised since there were a few negative reviews. Our Condo was awesome, very bright and clean and all condos are ocean view and a nice balcony to sit and have your morning coffee! So relaxing, the pool overlooked the ocean too. You could walk to beaches that were up and down the highway. The property has a shuttle within a 4 mile radius, but didnt use that since we had our own car. I would suggest having a car, since St Petersburg beaches were about 12 miles away. Very nice area, food was great everywhere we ate. I would definately go back.

Great Stay - Expedia

We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was great. We only stayed 1 night, but wished we could have stayed longer. Had a fabulous view from our balcony of the Bay. We are used to staying in Timeshare units so having a seperate kitchen and livingroom is great.

Booking.com

The staff was extremely helpful with check-in and all of our questions.

Sailport April Trip 2012 - TripAdvisor

This property has continued to get better with each trip I have made to this location : This was a business and Friends trip. My room had newer appliances and utensils. Looked as if was a fresh remodel. The bathroom was in excellent condition. There were 2 flatscreen TV's and a great desk work area. Small bedroom , but comfortable queen bed also the Wifi was free. The view was out over the pool area and looked into the bay. A nice patio area with charcoal grills located at the south end. The deck was great and made for enjoyable late afternoon relaxing. The hallway carpets were fresh and clean. Hotel rates have been very consistent and it is a great price for the easy access to Clearwater and downtown Tampa. Close drive to attend a Rays game as well. Also Chart House is new and close . The Hotel shuttle will take you to the nearby shopping and restaurants. This hotel was cleaner and better priced than most of the local Marriotts and Sheratons I have stayed in Florida. We did have a mix up in the pricing , but the hotels staff corrected this without issue. They were very pleasant and met my expectations during check in and when correcting the rate adjustment.

Attended a Wedding - TripAdvisor

The staff and accommadations are excellent. They were so pleasant to deal with, and made our stay so pleasant. We will be returning again and again. This is deinitely the place to "get away for several days" without breaking the pocketbook. The 2 bedroom suite we were in had a magnificent view. They had everything you would need - just bring your food. The kitchen was so nice with beautiful appliances and even granite countertops. There were 3 TV's, a DVD player, radio and comfortable beds. The walk-in shower was especially nice and the bathrooms were good sized. We are looking forward to our next trip there.

Great Spot - TripAdvisor

I just finished a nine day stay here. It was everything I was expecting and more with all the new improvements they have done since last year. There isn't any bad view from your balcony. Service is always with a smile. Many places to dine in a less than a 5 mile radius. If I could I would love to own one these newly remodeled rooms. Thanks and we will see you again .

Wonderful time.

We just left your facility yesterday after being there for 5 days. It may have just been the most enjoyable vacation of our 40 yrs of marriage. No problems, in fact, the staff was more than willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. Always asking if we had enough towels' coffee, etc. We went to get a different shower head and the maintanence man beat us back to our room. He changed the shower head and also thought we needed a new tub spout which we didn't even notice anything wrong with it. I was skeptical when I read some of the reviews on here, but I think now that some people just like to complain even when there's nothing to complain about. We WILL return to Tampa Bay and The Sailport Waterfront Resort. Without a doubt, the most relaxing, beautiful scenery around.szuoo

Incredible Sunsets - Hotels.com

It was very relaxing and the sunsets were as good as it gets !! Local eateries were more than expected...Good food, good price !!

BEYOND MY EXPECTATION!!! - TrivAdvisor

I truly and highly recommend this hotel and its staff. The location, the ambiance, the environment, the atmosphere, the view, the staff was perfect!!!

Great Spot on The Water - TripAdvisor

My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the sailport. I booked online expecting to get a very basic room for the night. How wonderful to get a water view and a balcony for the low price we paid! I didnt give it five stars because the halls are a bit noisy. For dinner, we walked right over to the Rusty Pelican and had a phenomenal meal. We didn't expect to enjoy Tampa, so had made it a quick one night sleepover. We liked the Sailport so much, we are here for another day! If you are traveling to Tampa, I do suggest treating yourself with a lovely location.

A great place to getaway! - TripAdvisor

We love staying here. The rooms are great (we especially like the kitchen - I love to cook and my fiancee loves for me to cook for her). The staff is great, the atmosphere is incredible, and the prices cannot be beat. We try to stay here at least once a month and have stayed in multiple different rooms (on all floors and in all different areas) and have not been disappointed yet. We've bragged about it so much that we are having a family get together there next month. We would enthusiastically recommend Sailport to anyone.

Nice relaxing place! - Travelocity

It was a very clean room.... It was nice to have a laundry room there also. Beautiful looking out over the bay very peaceful at night. Cleaning service was wonderful. I have no cons about the place.. I'll be staying there again in Aug.

Amazing Place to Stay - TripAdvisor

I had a great stay at sailport waterfront suites. I was not expecting much besides a general room, instead i got a full kitchen and a great work space. Most of all the view was great and I recieved a great relaxation massage on my balcony "Thanks Grace" That was great feature to walk into as well. Only disappointments I had was there was no beach access.. and not to much to do on property. I would have been happy with a simple kayak or row boat to cast a couple.. here nor there.. my stay and experience at sailport was great! Highly recommended!!!

Excelletnt - TripAdvisor

We spent 7 nights here and loved it! The room, view, service and staff were excellent. We used the hotel shuttle each day and they were great. We flew into St. Petersburg/Clearwater airport and it cost $35.00 for a taxi to the hotel, about a 25 minute ride. If you fly into the Tampa airport the hotel shuttle will pick you up. We used public transport(Hart bus) to get around outside the 4 miles that the hotel shuttle services. You can get to restaurants and 2 malls using the hotel shuttle. You would need to rent a car to get to Clearwater beaches.

Tampa Welcome

Very nice experience! Roomy space and balcony was a nice touch. The grounds were beautiful we wished it would not have been so rainy during our stay.
