Family Reunion @ the Sunset Vistas - TripAdvisor
We held our family Reunion at the Sunset Vistas. The staff of the Sunset Cafe and the Sunset Vistas were exemplary!
The rooms were clean, the grounds were always being taken care of. The pools were clean and refreshing. The views of the Gulf were visible from all rooms and was outstanding.
Our Reunion was a huge success due to the fact that everything was there and they handled all 175 of us with ease.
I would recommend the Sunset Vistas for any event.
Very enjoyable stay
Very clean rooms. Everything you need for your stay. Recently had our family reunion at the Sunset Vista Beachfront hotel. Everyone was very helpful to us in find out where the best places to eat and the beach view was the best I have seen. Thanks to Oliver for helping us set up the vacation. If you want a first class lace to visit in Treasure Island FL, This is the place to be.
Great place! - TripAdvisor
Spent 5 nights here. The place was great. It was a true 2 bedroom condo with awesome gulf front views. The staff was incredible. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It is located close to Joh's Pass where there are lots of shops & restaurants. The beach is fantastic and not crowded at all. They have a huge pool as well as a kiddie pool. Another huge plus to this hotel is assigned covered parking!
Incredible Anniversary Get Away - TripAdvisor
This was the first time at this resort, but second time visiting Treasure Island. We love this area and knew that we wanted to celebrate our 20th on the beach. We loved our 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms that was a bonus when getting ready to go out. The suite was very clean and we loved the view of the gulf from the balcony. I wish that you could choose your room when you reserved, but you have to wait until you get there to get your actuall room #. We knew only that we were getting a partial gulf view, so we were worried that we would be overlooking the parking lot. We really lucked out and got a great end room on the 5th floor overlooking the back lawn and kids' pool. If you are looking for a party resort then don't choose Sunset Vistas. We loved the family atmosphere and quietness. We never had a problem sleeping at all because the rooms were so quiet. The beach was so close compared to other resorts on the stretch. We went to WalMart and bought beach chairs for $15 and a cheap beach umbrella instead of renting them each day and it worked out great. It's $30 a day to rent 2 loungers and an umbrella. Always check the box before the beach to see what people have left behind. If you want to walk to a restaurant it will be about a mile. We walked to John's Pass one night and the distance wasn't too bad. They have some good restaurants and bars there. I would recommend driving up to Clearwater and visiting Pier 60 in the evening when they have street performers, vendors and awesome sunsets- lots of fun! The surf shop there is huge with tons of beach clothing. You can also take cruises out of Clearwater. We took the Calypso Queen out for a lunch cruise. You will not be disappointed with this resort and it's within driving distance to everything. OH, and visit the Shake Shop right next door. They have the best shakes and malts ever with tons of flavors to choose from. We definitely will be back with our kids the next time.
I just returned from a family vacation at sunset Vistas. My sisters and I were celebrating two milestone birthdays. Oldest sis turned 70 and youngest sis turning 60. We were a party of 5. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo was great, even with 1 of using the pull out sofa bed. We were impressed with the friendly staff and the fact that our room towels were replenished every other day. The food in the Cafe' was great. The beach and pool areas were always neat and clean. Would definitely like to come back.
